Holidays in Ibiza

Ibiza is well known as the party capital of Europe but there is a whole other side to Ibiza which most people are unaware of. For those wanting a stretch of white sand, quiet evenings and a relaxed atmosphere there are the resorts of Es Cana, Santa Eulalia and Portinatx, where families are welcomed and catered for.

The resorts of San Antonio Bay, San Antonio Town and Playa D’En Bossa offer more exciting entertainment options, perfect for lazy days and fun filled nights. Of course all of these resorts offer lots for visitors including shops, bars and restaurants. With all of these resorts offering something different, a holiday to Ibiza is all about choosing the right resort for you and your loved ones.

Ibiza - Theme Parks and Attractions

Though Ibiza offers no theme parks it does boast two water parks near Ibiza town which are accessible from all other areas of the island. Providing their visitors with a number of slides and chutes to delight them and pools for those who just fancy a lazy swim these water parks are perfect for a day out with the family.

Agualandia is best suited for families with younger children as the slides are a little less extreme, meaning even the smallest children will feel be able to feel the thrill of the rides provided. Of course water parks aren’t the only thing Ibiza has to offer, as the island provides a number of other entertainment options including horse riding, water sports at the beaches and go-karting courses.

Of course for many the main attraction of Ibiza is its bustling, cosmopolitan nightlife, with many of the world's best club nights and international DJs. Every flavour of dance music is on offer with renowned shows in Space, Amnesia, Pacha, Es Paradis, DC-10 & Privilege to name but a few.

Ibiza - Resort Guides

San Antonio Bay located just across the water from its noisier counterpart San Antonio Town, the Bay offers a slightly more relaxed atmosphere but well within reach of the lively bars and nightclubs of San Antonio Town, should you choose to partake. The atmosphere here is still bustling but is still suitable for families, offering varied accommodation and the beautiful beaches expected of Ibiza.

San Antonio Town is of course the liveliest resort in Ibiza and its charms are well known, providing visitors with more bars and nightclubs than they could sample in a month. With a staggering 150 bars and clubs in one street this part of town is where those whose day begins when the sun goes down will feel right at home. Grab some food at one of the local cafes and then head over to the west end where there are a number of big name DJ’s just waiting to entertain you.

Santa Eulalia located in the South East of Ibiza is a family friendly resort where relaxation is the watch word. As far removed from San Antonio Town as is possible, this resort offers a beautiful beach, complete with calm waters and fine gold sand, where all visitors can feel free to pick a spot and relax or hit the waters for a touch of adrenaline filled sports. When not on the beach guests can head to main strip where you will find a number of restaurants and bars, offering a wide range of traditional and international cuisine and a warm welcome.

Es Cana like all the other resorts offers a fantastic beach, some busier than others. Providing a family friendly atmosphere and a number of great entertainment options, Es Cana is a fantastic option for guests of all ages. For those seeking relaxation there’s a space on a beach reserved for you, while those who seek excitement and activities can take part in water sports, grab the ferry over to Ibiza Town where you can find a selection of chic boutiques full of bargains or stay in Es Cana and experience the hippy market, chock full of handmade jewellery and original pottery that you’ll just love.
